June 5, 2013, Philadelphia – Royal Thunder’s acoustic version of “Whispering World” is featured as Decibel Magazine’s July Flexi pick with the song also streaming via the magazine’s website (http://www.decibelmagazine.com/flexi-disc/royal-thunder/).

The collectible vinyl is the latest partnership between the Atlanta band and the extreme music magazine. Royal Thunder vocalist/bass player Mlny Parsonz was featured on the cover of the outlet’s inaugural Women in Metal issue and the full band was profiled in a recent Converse x Decibel video clip highlighting the personal sacrifices the young band has made to stay on the road (http://www.decibelmagazine.com/converse/converse-x-decibel-royal-thunder-do-quit-their-day-jobs/).

The trio have offered two previous acoustic songs as free downloads:  “Parsonz Curse” via Rolling Stone (http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/parsonz-curse-by-royal-thunder-free-mp3-20130523) and “Black Water Vision” via Pitchfork (http://pitchfork.com/reviews/tracks/15230-black-water-vision-acoustic/).  Both CVI and the band’s self-titled EP are streaming for free via Bandcamp (http://royalthunder.bandcamp.com/).
